This course provides students with an understanding of the key elements associated with planning, designing and building structures.  Studetns learn major concepts by constructing scale models of variuos types of residential structures.  There are also opportunities to create a project or to build a small structure that fullfills a need in the community.  Units of study include: construction types, materials, design & testing, and safe use of hand and power tools.
