Prerequisite: C or better in Computer Aided Drafting (541)

This course provides a background for students who are interested in pursuing a possible degree in Architecture at the post-secondary level.  Students will develop an understanding of both the technical and creative knowledge and skills used in the design and construction od residential structures.  A Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program wil lbe used to allow students to apply this knowledge in creating renderings and plans.  Students will be expected to create plans/renderings in solving architectural design challenges.  These challenges are and not limited to kitchen remodeling, drea mbedroom, garage and house design.
