Our guest speaker, Dr, Steve Sobel, is nationally acclaimed for his work with student-athletes and athletic teams at the collegiate and high school levels, as well as working with professional teams and athletes in such sports as basketball, hockey, baseball, football, tennis, and golf.

Steve has keynoted many conferences in Connecticut and also, as a former school principal, has garnered many accolades. He currently teaches part time at the college level, as well as being the head coach of the Springfield Slamm of the Greater Springfield Pro-Am Basketball League.

Steve recently had the honor of being chosen to speak to the top 100 student-athletes at the University of Notre Dame, and then to all the Notre Dame coaches the next day. He has also spoken at Quinnipiac College as well as many other colleges throughout New England. Steve is a popular speaker at NCAA events, and throughout the Connecticut school systems.

Steve’s passion, wisdom and inspiring presentations allow students to truly enjoy the opportunities presented to them. He is the author of The Good Times Handbook – Your Guide to Positive Living and an Exciting Life and CD Blueprint for Excellence.

All student-athletes are expected to attend this meeting (regardless of the season in which they play a sport) and parents are positively encouraged to join their children.
